Shashank Mishra

Managing Director & CEO

Shashank Mishra is a serial entrepreneur. Although his journey started at the young age of 13 years, his Xolopak adventure began in 2014.

As the Managing Director & CEO, Shashank and his team contribute to working towards creating a world-class organization and being a leader in the sustainable disposable packaging industry, keeping the Ethos of E (Environment), S (Sustainability), G (Governance) as the core of our business strategy.

He has kept BICS (Be the (B)EST, (I)nnovate, (C)ustomer is key to our existence, and (S)ustainability) as the foundation of the value system at Xolopak.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Shashank worked in the Indian financial services industry for 13 years with renowned organizations such as Kotak, Travelex, MetLife, Nippon Asset Management & Thomson Reuters.

In his last assignment, he worked as the National Sales Manager (South Asia & Middle East) at Goldensource Corporation, where he managed sales operations for South Asia and the Middle East.

He has ventured into other businesses such as Milk Collection and Distribution-India, Airlaid Napkin sales and exports from Europe to South Africa, Egypt, and India. He has run businesses successfully in Europe before establishing a business in India.

Shashank holds an MBA in Finance from Neoma Business School, France.

Banani Chatterjee

Executive Director

Ms. Banani Chatterjee is a resident of India. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications with 19 years of experience in various roles in the field of Data and Analytics. Currently, she manages Data Solutions and Operations for the Fiber and Food services segment at Huhtamaki Oyj, Finland. She has prior experience in a similar capacity at AFRY, Finland, and Infosys Ltd.

Koel Ghosh

Independent Director

Koel Ghosh is a seasoned professional currently consulting as the Head of Strategic Initiatives at ETF Junction, a cutting-edge fintech platform dedicated to promoting the widespread adoption of ETFs in both local and global investment portfolios. With over two decades of experience in the financial industry, Koel has held key leadership roles driving regional and commercial strategies.

As the former Head of South Asia at S&P Dow Jones Indices and the Managing Director and CEO of Asia Index Private Limited, a joint venture index business with BSE, she has spearheaded initiatives that have significantly contributed to the growth of passive investing in India.

Koel’s passion for revolutionizing investment practices through education and advocacy has made her a well recognized figure in the realm of passive investing. Her comprehensive expertise in asset management spans various renowned financial institutions such as Thomson Reuters, UTI Asset Management, and IL&FS Asset Management Limited.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Koel’s outstanding contributions to the finance sector have been acknowledged by the Association of International Wealth Management of India (AIWMI), which named her one of the top 100 women in finance in India in 2019.

With her deep experience and strength in building growth strategies, she aids in developing robust frameworks, paving the way for innovative solutions and profitable businesses.

 

 
 
 

Srinivas Rao

Independent Director

Srinivas Rao is an internationally acclaimed business visionary and strategist. He has been associated with organizations like ITC Ltd, IRRI, ICRISAT, TiE, BMGF, and has expertise in the areas of corporate agri-business, structuring business models, profit center head, inclusive value chains, innovative use of ICT, and technological breakthroughs.

He has also been supporting emerging businesses and startups with mentorship, corporate governance, workshops, investor meets, funding, advocacy, etc., across multiple domains such as pharma, agri-tech, ICT, FMCG, retail, real estate & co-working space.

Srinivas did his Bachelor’s in Commerce (Hons) from Delhi University and completed his Master’s in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines, and other senior executive management courses from Cornell University, Administrative Staff College of India, Kansas State University, Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad).

Vijay Prakash Rai

Independent Director

Mr. Vijay Prakash Rai aged 49 years is an Independent Director of the Company. He holds the degree of Bachelor of Arts from University of Allahabad in the year 1997 and holds degree of Master of Business Administration from Shivaji University,Kolhapur in the year 2000. He has more than 13 years of experience in the field of Sales Representative.

 
 

Ajay Bisaria

Independent Director

Ajay Bisaria is a corporate strategic advisor and commentator on international affairs. He is a Distinguished Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation. Ambassador Bisaria has had a distinguished diplomatic career spanning 35 years in the Indian Foreign Service, which included serving as Indian envoy to Canada, Pakistan, Poland and Lithuania.

He has also represented the country at the World Bank in Washington DC and served in the Prime Minister’s Office, where he was a key aide to Prime Minister Vajpayee from 1999 to 2004. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from St Stephen’s College, Delhi University; an MBA from IIM Calcutta; and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Princeton University.

Yash Kumar

Vice President – Operations

Yash is an operations professional with over 12 years of experience across IT, telecom, and manufacturing, having worked with organizations such as TCS, ACT Fibernet, and Xolopak. An MBA graduate from NMIMS, he combines strong business acumen with hands-on operational leadership. His expertise includes end-to-end operations management, process optimization, and scalable manufacturing execution. Yash brings a data-driven and structured approach to improving efficiency, quality, and cost competitiveness. He is focused on building robust operational systems that support sustainable business growth.

Aayasha Khan

Head – Human Resources

Aayasha joined the group in December 2023 and heads the Human Resource Division. Along with her team, she significantly contributes to Xolopak’s development and success by optimizing its most valuable resource – its people. She aligns HR strategies with the organization’s strategic goals, instrumental in driving growth and competitiveness.

Before joining Xolopak, Aayasha worked for 14 years with prominent industry players like Red Bull India, Dover Fueling Solutions, NielsenIQ, and Axens Global Engineering and Execution Centre (AgeX).

Her diverse industry experience lends a broader perspective to organisational/culture design and development. She has a strong track record of successfully executing mergers and acquisitions, as well as building employee strength for high-growth organizations.

Aayasha holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource from Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research.

Jayeeta Roy

AVP - Legal

Jayeeta heads the Legal and Compliance Department with over 10 years of experience in corporate and legal functions, having worked across diverse industries including Telecom, Automobile, and FMCG. She holds a Master’s degree in Law from Christ University, Bangalore, and has built a career in the corporate sector as an in-house Legal Counsel.

 

Parag leads the accounts team and maintains all internal compliances. He has over 15 years of accounting experience.

Yogini is an experienced company secretary professional with diversified industry experience in Manufacturing, automobile, IT and service Industries for more than 9 years. She has worked with MNCs like Trumpf, XPO and SKF.
